FortisBC’s Step Code Incentive Rebate Program for new homes is effective for any permits pulled following March 29, 2018. Additional rebates for fireplaces and appliances are also available.
New Updates – Important Information
There are changes to FortisBC’s rebate and incentive programs for natural gas equipment. On June 30, 2023, the BC Government made a regulation change that discontinued FortisBC’s ability to offer rebates and incentives for gas equipment less than 100% energy efficient.
Pre-registration for the rebate program must be submitted by December 31, 2023.
