Matheus Alfred Olmedo

Sustainability is a wide field, and applying it practically is often a daunting step to take. As an energy advisor, I find that facilitating the next step for home builders can be a gratifying and enduring experience. We help make the world a better place while providing a comfortable and lasting home!

Matheus has been in the residential energy design industry since 2010. He works with both new and existing homes, and focuses on providing high performing energy alternatives in compliance with the Energy Step Code, VBBL requirements, and Built Green designs.

His Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering (UBC 2010) informs his expertise in Building Science and provides a solid foundation in understanding how a home’s energy consumption can be optimized for each client’s needs.
Matheus arrived in Vancouver from Brazil in 2005. In his spare time, he teaches historical European martial arts and sword fighting in downtown Vancouver, and is an avid board gamer with his fiancée. He can be found on his bike cruising around Vancouver, in rain or shine.
