Leverage rebates to improve the comfort of your home while saving money.
When you save energy in your home, you not only save money on your energy bills, but you are using less. When you use less, you are helping to reduce the impact we have on this planet.
At Capital Home Energy, we stand by the notion that we can save the planet one house at a time. When we all work together, amazing things are possible! When it comes to addressing our effect on our environment, there is no better time to start than right now. A great place to start making changes to reduce our influence on the environment is at home.
Energy Advisor supported Rebates with FortisBC
By hiring our team of expert energy advisors, you are entitled to the new Energy Advisor Supported Upgrades Program from Clean BC that was implemented on September 28th, 2018. When we complete a pre and post-renovation evaluation, you are automatically qualified for a $300 rebate!
Another resource to save on renovations is the Home Energy Improvement Bonus. The Home Energy Improvement Bonus is a rebate for improving your EnerGuide rating by installing three or more bonus-eligible upgrades. The total savings are calculated by $20 per %GJ reduction in EnerGuide rating, with a maximum total rebate of $2,000.
A great tool to discover more savings opportunities is the rebate search tool from Clean BC.
Many municipalities in Greater Vancouver, Interior BC and Vancouver island are offering top-up rebates. Coverage is currently offered for electric heat pump space heaters, electrical service upgrades, electric heat pumps, water heaters, window and door upgrades, and EnerGuide pre-upgrade evaluations. To learn more about this, visit the Clean BC Municipal Top-Ups page.
